We are happy to share our lives with our bloodhounds,
Ogi & Zeeva; along with their non-bloodhound pals.
We have had bloodhounds for 15 years; and over the
years we have had 7 bloodhounds.
Currently we have two bloodhounds, Ogi and Zeeva.
- Ogi is pronounced like Yogi without the Y.
- Zeeva is pronounced "Zee" "Va".
And, yes we know, we have unusual names for our dogs.
Mary has been in the sport of dog showing for 20 years
and does an excellent job of handling and presenting
bloodhounds. She has watched the sport change from
primarily an owner-handler sport (meaning where the
actual dog owner presents their dog to the dog show
judge) to a sport filled with lots of professional
dog show handlers.
Tim is behind the scenes (at home), where he enjoys the
shananagins and on-going fun of bloodhound ownership.
Nutrageous does not breed bloodhounds, but we
have at times participated in other bloodhound
breeders litters by providing a select bloodhound
male for stud; but even this has been very limited
& very selective.
For us, all our dogs are our pets first, and then
show dogs second.
